The persons that will be registered according to what is prescribed below in the Society and must fulfil one of the following set of qualifications:
• a university degree in an aviation-related area
• a university degree in a different major but an at least five-year work experience in an aviation sector
• a higher education degree in addition to a ten-year professional experience in an aviation-related sector
• Furthermore, any other person professionally engaged in an aviation-related sector for a ten-year period can become a regular member upon the suggestion of five (5) members of the Board of Directors.
Anyone fulfilling the above mentioned legal qualifications has to right to register as a member of the Society. For this registration, any interested person must first fill in an application form and submit it to the Board of Directors, accompanied by the proposal of two (2) members of the Society (who must have been members of the Society for at least a three-year period unless they are founding members of the Society, in this case the present provision does not apply) and the relevant consent is granted within the deadline of sixty (60) days. Upon positive answer and in order to complete membership, the candidate should proceed with the deposit of the relevant amount stipulated for each new member.
